Colorway: Active Fuchsia/Lethal Pink
Release Date: 02/04/2021
After a preview at New York Fashion Week, Tokyo fashion label AMBUSH and Nike teamed up once again to deliver a new colorway with the Nike Dunk High Ambush Active Fuchsia. The collaboration nods to the culture surrounding transportation in Japan, which explains the re-imagined proportions on the silhouette that almost make it look aerodynamic.
The Nike Dunk High Ambush Fuchsia arrives with an Active Fuschia leather upper and an exaggerated Swoosh that protrudes the heel. Aside from the re-imagined Swoosh, other features differentiate this design from traditional Nike Dunks like a raised heel counter with significant separation on the back of the shoe, revealing a larger amount of Active Fuschia leather paneling, and an extended plastic unit donning Ambush branding encapsulates the heel. An exposed foam tongue, Active Fuchsia sole, and co-branded tongue tag add the finishing touches to the avant-garde design.
The Nike Dunk High Ambush Fuchsia released in February of 2021.

Tokyo-based fashion label AMBUSH teamed up with Nike to add an abstract twist to the Dunk High silhouette with the Nike Dunk High Ambush Black. This collaboration draws its inspiration from Japanese bike, car, and truck culture, which explains the re-imagined proportions on the silhouette that almost make it look aerodynamic. Features like the extended Swoosh and prominent heel counter nod to the extended tail pipes and lifted rear chassis of motorcycles and trucks.
The Nike Dunk High Ambush Black arrives with a white and black leather upper in traditional color blocking (a design format similar to early Nike Dunk releases in 1985), and an exaggerated Swoosh that extends beyond the heel. Outside of the re-imagined Swoosh, other features differentiate this design from traditional Nike Dunks like a raised heel counter with significant separation on the back of the shoe, revealing a larger amount of white leather panelling, and an extended black plastic unit donning Ambush branding encapsulates the heel. An exposed foam tongue, white sole, and co-branded tongue tag complete this design.
The Nike Dunk High Ambush Black released in December of 2020.

Lastly, Deep Royal leather overlays are stacked on white leather panels to complete the design.

2020 is the year full of surprises, as Nike collaborates with Boston-based boutique, Bodega, on the Nike Dunk High. Unlike any other Dunk to drop in 2020, this special partnership delivers a heavily detailed sneaker, which, described by the shop, is based on "Classic Americana". The unexpected release merges two sports, basketball and baseball, into one while hitting on cultural moments in American style and history.
Constructed to look like a traditional baseball mitt, the Nike Dunk High Bodega Legend Fauna Brown's upper features a mix of textures and hues, as both suede and pebbled leather make up the majority of the sneaker. In addition to materials, specific details such as iron-branded Bodega on the medial side, jeweled tortoiseshell Nike Swoosh on the lateral side, and rawhide lacing throughout the sneaker's entirety elevate the sneaker's status. A stash pocket is added inside the tongue, a head nod to a baseball mitt's inner webbed pocket.
The Nike Dunk High Bodega Legend Fauna Brown released in December 2020.

South Korean streetwear label Kasina teamed up with Nike to release the Nike Dunk Low Kasina Industrial Blue. This design is one of two colorways to release as part of the collaboration. The Dunk Low Kasina Neptune Green nods to exit signs that can be seen when driving through the Gyeongbu Expressway, the main highway between Busan and Seoul. On the flip side, the Industrial Blue colorway pays tribute to the design of Seoul's public transport buses in the 1980s.
The Nike Dunk Low Kasina Industrial Blue features a white tumbled leather upper with Industrial Blue suede overlays and a yellow Swoosh. Kasina branding on the tongue, embroidery on the side heel, and an orange mini Swoosh on the toe complete this luxe design.
